Nikon new DK-17M magnifying eyepiece

NIKON_DK-17M.jpg

Nikon introduces a M-type viewfinder eyepiece for F6, F5, F4, F3HP, D1 and D2 bodies.

There was the DK-17A anti-fog eyepiece and the DK-17C correction eyepieces from -2 to +3 diopters.
But this DK-17M is a nifty magnifying eyepiece enlarging the viewfinder 1.5 times, while still allowing to see it all.
The bad news is that it is rather scarce as it is literally flying out of stores counters.
Last time we saw one was at Amazon Japan

Does this work on the D70 as well?

No, unfortunately it is for the big pro viewfinders only
