Trade Associations Concerned About "Orphan" Law
PDN Online reports on proposed US Senate legislation that would make it easier for people to reuse "orphaned" works - such as photos whose creators are dead, forgotten or difficult to contact - without fear of liability. This is causing much concern for many trade associations and groups who see this as yet another attack on existing copyright law.
