SEC Registration Effective in Micron/Lexar Merger

The SEC has proclaimed the registration statement is now effective related to the merger proposition between Micron and Lexar. This action paves the way for the merger to be put up for Lexar shareholder approval in a special meeting on 8-June-2006 in Fremont CA. Subject to shareholder approval, the merger is expected to be completed following that session.
