World's Largest Photo Ever Is Unveiled
In an earlier report, we had told you about The Legacy Project, which intended to use a former airplane hanger at El Toro California, to create the largest camera obscura in the world. The project succeeded and you can see the results; a photo negative measuring 28 feet high by 108 feet wide (8.5m x 33m) showing a panorama of the former military base. The size of the negative as well as the camera is expected to be confirmed as a world record by Guinness. The specifications are impressive - among other things, the "pinhole" was less than a quarter-inch in diameter (6mm) and processing the neg took about 600 gallons (2271 liters) of developer.
