D70 Armor Skin

Thanks to some of our eagle-eyed members, you can now purchase an armor "skin" for your digital SLR camera.

I just got news that the armor for the D200 will be available on 12/10!

It won't protect the MB-D200 battery pack but will allow the pack to be connected while the armor is on the camera.

What's the benefit? Have the D200.

Umm...it protects you camera?

Seems like a benefit to me.

Just seems a bit over-the-top to me.

Well, I can't comment to "over-the-top" but if it protects my camera from bumps and dings and is removable, 50 bucks doesn't seems unreasonable.

It also comes with a Len armor to prevent your lens from getting dinged and a lens cap leash for the same 50 bucks.

Seems like a decent deal.

This sounds like a good product for me. I shoot Pro Beach Volleyball and I always have sunscreen on, which inevitably finds its way onto my camera. My old Sony F-707's button labels all wore off from the sunscreen residue, and my D70 is showing some wear too.

Anything that can keep my new D200 looking new after a summer at the beach is certainly worth a try.
