The move to the new format was a pain for me and added nothing to your podcast. I had to download iTunes to listen/view the podcast, against my wishes, and the images are too small (and square) to be any use at all. the podcast was, however, great as usual!

To be blunt -- non-MP3 is a dumb idea. Why would you force me to manually download an MP3 instead of using an automated subscription? I have no objection to your creating an enhanced version, but retain the plain MP3 subscription for those of us who choose not to use iPods. I *only* listen to podcasts on my portable MP3 player, so iTunes is not an option. Make two feeds if you must, but retain the MP3 format via subscription.

The great thing about audio-only format is that it requires no visual interaction with the player or the podcast itself. Lends itself perfectly to listening while commuting. Adding visuals only detracts from such usage.

Is it a coincidence that TWIP also offers only iPod formats? I hope this is not the beginning of a trend. FWIW - it looks like TWIP is now supplying both formats in one feed. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Also - the method for adding comments to the podcast page is more complex than necessary because it does not recognize nikonians.org usernames. It requires a separate sign-up, which entails a trip to the email account, plus the hassle of recording yet another username and password. Why can't this comments page use the nikonians.org username and password?

Sorry 'bout that, but you have unnecessarily downgraded one of my favourite podcasts.

Hey Rick and Jason. I mentioned before that I've only recently started listening in to the Image Doctors podcasts and I've got to say your podcasts are my favorite to listen to while I'm at work or just driving in the car. You two are such a wealth of information for someone just getting to explore the world of photography.

I'm an iTunes user with a Mac and really loved the images you guys embedded into this weeks podcast from the airshow. I was pleasantly surprised to see a picture of a Blackhawk helicopter in the podcast when I listened to it a second time to see the embedded images! I've always wanted to see one in action up close. I wish I could've seen that F-22 you guys mentioned also. I'm sure it was as unreal as you guys described.

I would love to see larger images of the shots you guys took at the airshow. Is there an online gallery you guys posted these pictures on?

I have also had issues with the iTunes format. I can listen to the audio content on an Archos 504, Nokia phone, Sony Ericsson K810i and an HTC TyTNII. None of these devices will display embedded pictures, unless I am doing something wrong. I have also tried to listen and view the podcast on a Windows machine with XP, with the same results.

Please let us keep the mp3 format as the primary format. I listen to the podcasts in the car wjilst driving so even if it were to be able to display the embedded pictures it would be a hazard.

The content of the Podcasts is excellent as ever although the double issue with Thom Hogan for me did go on a little and it lacked punch both in content and audio quality.

Personally, I love the idea of embedding photos in the podcast. And AAC is no problem for me, as I'm using iTunes to download it.

The only problem with this one is, while the pictures show up when playing it in iTunes, they don't show up on the iPhone when playing it. Not sure why...but I know it's possible, Martin Bailey's podcast shows embedded images when playing on the phone. He does have a chapter marker at every point the images changes - I wonder if that might be the ticket?

Guys, really liked the combination podcast slideshow, it did give context to the talk. I was thinking that on photo heavy shows this would be good to do again, some of the old shows like the one's about the Texas bird shoots would have been fun with this tech.

Great show as usual.
