My apologies if this is the wrong place for my question . . . I am a long time Nikon user and have kept all my cameras over the last 30 years. I opened the drawer recently and discovered the back of my two Nikon N90s [film] cameras seem to be melting, or something like that. The body itself is fine but the hinged back is sticky like tape - seems to be something like plastic dissolving in the presence of some solvent. Any help? I'd like to at least stop it if not repair it.
Please refer my post elsewhere if appropriate.
thank you . . . SS
