Nikonians Academy update: New workshops to fit your needs

Nikonians-Academy-News-Bog.jpgNikonians Academy Director Mike Hagen tells us the Academy staff is adding new dates, courses and locations.  In a nod to the increasing demand for professional guidance with the new video enabled Nikon DSLR's the new calendar includes the debut of a specialized workshop concentrating on the topic.

Creating compelling flash photography on location can be a challenge.

That's why our Nikonians Academy instructor, David Tejada has created one of the country's best two-day workshops that addresses on-location flash photography. The next Professional Lighting on Location with Nikon CLS will be held in the San Francisco Bay Area May 14-15. You can learn more about David Tejada by checking out his blog and Website.

Nikon_VDSLR_300.jpgEver wanted to know how to create HD videos with your DSLR? Michael Mariant has a five-day Video & Cinematography with your Nikon DSLR workshop based out of Lake Tahoe that will go through the ins and outs of shooting, editing and compiling HD movies.

The HD Video workshop is scheduled for July 28th - August 1st; one of the most beautiful times of year for outdoor filming at Lake Tahoe. Join in the fun and learn this new skill.

Winston Hall's Moab, Utah photography workshop is completely sold out for May, 2010. However, due to the high demand, we've added a September 8th trip to Moab, Utah

and a September 14th trip to the slot canyons around Page, Arizona.

Mike Hagen and Winston Hall keep adding more cities for our camera, flash and Capture NX2 workshops. They will be in Seattle, Dallas and Houston over the next two months, and they also just added New York and Washington, DC for later this year.
