Busy at the Booth - Nikonians Team welcomes old friends and distinguished guests

Photokina_88.jpgPhotokina 2010 Nikonians Team members at Hall 5, Booth A010 have been busy greeting the steady stream of visiitors attending Photokina 2010 in Cologne, Germany.

Our communications and marketing director Hendric Schneider tells us one of the highlights has been the appearance of one of our own members, Dennis_Owens_200.jpgDennis Owens (DennisOwens) who has been presenting classes on the Nikon Creative Lighting System.
One tutorial session ended with a round of applause

Dennis is from Gangelt-Niederbusch, Germany. He's a Platinum member witha sports shooting background and a very heavy camera bag.

Hendric_Joe_Patrick_300.jpgSpeaking of tutorials, an old pro in the field is Joe McNally, who's more than 30 year career has been an inspiration to many Nikonians members. Joe was the featured guest in the 100th episode of the Nikonians Image Doctors podcast.

Joe has been appearaing as part of the Manfrotto School of Excellence at this Photokina.
Joe is shown here flanked by Hendric (on the left) and Patrick Ludolph (at right). Patrick is head of the new German Podcast "Knackscharf" (translation: Extremly Sharp).

And now for something completely different
Our photos from the Photokina are being collected by the heavily jet-lagged Albert Esschendal (alberte) who traveled directly from the 10th ANPAT on the USA West Coast to the Photokina in Germany. Albert has a unique way of bringing out the best in his subjects, like this distinguished trio giving us their interpretation of the "Three Monkey's Story."
