The Nikonians On Location #24 - Cut in Half
Martin Joergensen giving himself the assignment of taking pictures with a distinct line going horzontally through the center. Shot some for the purpose, but also manipulated some in Photoshop.
Show Notes: July 02, 2008
If you're in some kind of creative doldrum, you can always give yourself an assignment. Martin likes giving himself constraints in his photography - like this one: shoot images, which are cut in half by a horizontal line in the subject.

The Nikonians On Location #23 - LadyLike band pictures
A fun and educating day of shooting the Danish rockband LadyLike together with fellow Nikonian Alexander Orstrom. Indoors and outdoors and a lot of off camera flash.
Show Notes: June 24, 2008
Shooting a band with four members offers a lot of opportunities. LadyLike want to appear as powerful as the music they play, and by using different techniques, props and settings we try to obtain that effect.

This time Martin is sticking a lot of individual images together to form collages. He covers the way of shooting them and how to create controlled chaos in the result.
Show Notes: June 16, 2008
Inspired by Heather Champ of flickr and David Hockney, a British pop artist, we this time venture into a more arty way of taking and working on pictures. By shooting panoramic-like, but without the meticulous control that's used in normal panoramas, we get a dozen or so images that can be arranged into a chaotic collage.
Jason and Rick discuss the latest in inkjet technology with an HP Engineer. Then, listen as Jason and Rick break down Nikon Capture NX 2.0 in their detailed hands-on review.
