Recently I blogged on my Coolpix P50 as a carry everyday camera. But if you want a small SLR the Nikon EM is small and as easy to use as any camera out there. Just load it up with some general purpose film and a small Nikon 50 f1.8E lens and it goes everywhere.
The meter is Nikon's tried and true CW meter and the camera is a simple aperture priority camera. Just point focus and choose your aperture and off you go. Simple fast and fun. The EM's viewfinder is clear and bright and the needle analog display is easy to read and it will even beep to remind you if the shutter is to slow to hand hold.
So for a few bucs you can buy a Nikon EM and have a ton of fun.
