20 Minutes sheds light on inkjet technology

Nikonians looking for an easy explanation of the complex science behind professional quality inkjet prints will find the answers in a free MP3 download.

The Nikonians Image Doctors have produced a podcast leading off with a guest appearance by HP's Thom Brown.

The first 20 minutes of the podcast take advantage of Thom Brown's ten years of experience with HP as an inkjet developer in a free-wheeling interview covering archival quality, optimum dots per inch (dpi) settings and color spaces.

Brown helps simplify the technology behind HP printers with the ability to produce prints that are rated to last over 200 years. He also invites listeners to test their own images in an interactive light fade simulator he has posted online.

As always, the Image Doctors provide useful links in their show notes.
