Nikonians Academy workshops preparing for busy 2009
Following a busy January calendar, Nikonians Academy Director Mike Hagen reports the 2009 calendar is filling up with exciting new learning and sharing opportunities.
Our new year of photography workshops has started off very well with all of our workshops in January being completely sold out. Winston Hall has been very busy teaching this month on the D300, the Nikon Wireless Flash and Nikon Capture NX2. In fact, he just returned from running sold out workshops in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle. Next month Winston and Nikonians Academy Director Mike Hagen will be running workshops all around the USA in places like Orlando, Phoenix, Atlanta, and Austin. You can check out the list of our affordable and excellent workshops around the USA at our website: www.nikoniansacademy.com
Mike Hagen has recently returned from two photo safaris in Africa and the trips were truly adventures of a lifetime.
He reports: "All of the Nikonians participants came home with stunning images of Tanzania's wildlife, people and landscapes. In fact, I encourage you to head over to the Impressions Galleries to see the amazing images from the trip. Nikonians Silver Gold and Platinum members can follow the link here.
These trips were so much fun and the photography was so amazing, that I've already started planning our return. Stay tuned!"
Have you ever wanted to photograph wild animals in close proximity?
We have an incredible opportunity to shoot at the Triple D Game Farm in Montana coming this May 11 - May 17.
Mike returned from photographing Triple D's animals last week and was amazed at the photography opportunities.
During the workshop in May Nikonians will have direct access to Triple D's wildlife models in natural settings.
Mike says the focus of the photo sessions will be on all the new baby animals such as wolves, foxes, mountain lions, tigers, snow leopards, grizzly bears, brown bears, raccoons, and more.
The group size for this workshop is limited to 10 participants.
If you've ever wanted full-face portraits of baby animals, this is the place to come!
