Lonely Road leads to Contest Win
Congratulations to Nikonian Jim Thackrey (jthackrey), our winner for the fourth week of the New Members Welcome Photo Contest.
Jim, one of our Gold members from Florida, USA used his Nikon D200 and 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX VR Zoom NIKKOR lens to capture this image called “Lonely Road” near Valley Of Fire State Park in Nevada.
He shot it at ISO 800, f/14, 1/400 sec, using Matrix metering.
His selection as our winner has earned Jim a Noise Ninja Pro Bundle by PictureCode (valued at $79.95 USD).
Responding to the good news, Jim wrote: "Thank you so much for this wonderful news. I had already kindled a fire for photography over the last year trying to learn and now I feel like gas has been poured on the flames. You made my day...week."
