16th ANPAT in the Fall FAQ's posted

Bear_SQ_ANPAT16_110.jpgYou have questions? -- Nikonians founder J. Ramon Palacios (jrp) has answers.

He has posted an extensive FAQ for our members planning on attending the 16th year of the Annual Nikonians Photography Adventure Trip (ANPAT) in the Fall.

The week long ANPAT runs October 1-8 and the location will be Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in Wyoming and Montana.

The FAQ's address more than 30 specific questions, such as:
▪ What is the minimum skill level required for this adventure?
▪ What personal gear and footwear is recommended?
▪ What routine can we expect each day?
▪ Do I really need a tripod?

Join Nikonians founders Bo Stahlbrandt (bgs) and J. Ramon Palacios (jrp), with ANPAT Leader Eric Bowles (ericbowles) in an ideal setting for landscape and wildlife photographers, where we all help and learn from each other, living the Nikonians motto: share, learn, inspire.

TheNikonian-35-cover_300.jpgThe Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks served as the ANPAT location eight years ago, and if you want to see how things went for our members, check the 7th Annual Fall ANPAT edition of our official publication, The Nikonian.

It is available as a free download for our members.

Yellowstone highlights include great locations, like the Lamar and Hayden valleys, Mammoth Hot Springs, Geysers, just to name a few.

The Grand Teton phase features Schwabacher's Landing, Mormon Row & Moulton Barn, Oxbow Bend of the Snake River, Snake River Overlook, and several other great locations on the lookout for bear, elk and moose.

Check the official 16th ANPAT in the Fall page for more details.
