The Woodlands, Texas Workshop one month away

Academy-CHI-Hulbert_SQ-110.jpgNikonians Academy instructors Rick Hulbert and Mike Hagen are teaching four days of workshops in The Woodlands, Texas from April 5 to 9, 2016.

Rick has created a hybrid 2-day Urban and Street Photography class where we'll mix field photography in Houston with classroom instruction and critique in The Woodlands.

During this 2-day workshop with Rick you will learn how to photograph 3-dimensional space, both outdoors and indoors.

Academy-Woodlands_300.jpgThe techniques and methods you learn in this workshop directly translate to landscape photography or portraiture that include buildings and structures in cities, towns, and rural environments.

Rick and Mike are also presenting a 2-day series of classes that will cover:
► Wildlife photography
► Extended dynamic range photography
► Lightroom CC for wildlife and landscapes
► Architectural photography
► Composition for smarties
► DSLR autofocus for sports, action
► Panorama photography

They have also scheduled a free photo walk for anyone who wants to attend.

CreativeLive-Nikonians-combo_325.jpgOur new partnership with CreativeLive is in full swing. We just finished up Photoshop Week where our very own Mike Hagen taught a workshop on Panoramas in Lightroom and Photoshop and we'll have additional Nikonians classes in the near future.

Mike has picked a few of his favorite CreativeLive workshops and posted them at our Nikonians landing page here.

Check out the previews of these workshops to see if they might be for you. Also, watch any of their live shows for free from from their front page here.

Gallapegos_300.jpgOur international photography trips are a great way to explore the world while focusing on photography.
This year, we have trips to Iceland, the Galapagos Islands, and Tanzania. Each is unique, but all are impeccably organized specifically to prioritize photography. Our goal is to bring you the best photography, the best light, and the best experience.
