Academy instructors touring the globe

Our Nikonians Academy instructors are all around the world over these next two weeks.

Steve Simon is in Cuba, Rick Hulbert in Chicago, and Mike Hagen is in the Galapagos Islands.

They are all running workshops with intrepid photographers who aspire to improve their skills in many the most visually interesting areas around the world.

We've just posted six new workshops to www.nikoniansacademy.com

These include two new trips to Cuba with Steve Simon. One starts on December 10th, and the other begins January 16, 2017

This intimate six-day masterclass (limited to 10 students) will take you to some of the most picturesque, interesting and exciting locations in Havana and beyond.

Lester Picker is opening his October trip to Acadia National Park for Nikonians members and we've included a link on the site to sign up. Some call it the most beautiful National Park in the country, a tiny gem compared to its larger siblings. Whether or not you agree, Maine's Acadia National Park is most definitely a sparkling jewel for its combination of geology, flora, fauna... and weather.

Mike Hagen has posted three of his 2017 trips, including workshops to IcelandGalapagos and Tanzania. He still has one seat available for our Tanzanian photo safari this November, so email him right away if you are interested (mike.hagen@nikonians.org).

Our partnership with CreativeLive continues to grow and we are happy to announce Photo Week, running from September 26-29, 2016. Watch live for free. Attend in person if you are in New York City. Buy the workshops at a pre-show discount of $199 vs. $499 after shows air.

Mike Hagen tells us Photo Week is the biggest online photography education event, ever. Join more than 50 thousand students worldwide and get access to:

24 live classes taught by top-tier, expert photography instructors that you can watch at home, live, and for free.

A photo school-style education in 4 days -- learn the techniques, tools, and gain insights in a fraction of the time, for less, and with the best instructors.

A full post-processing track that will take your images from bland to show-worthy.

Here's our Nikonians link to sign up.
