Waiting for the iMac quad core

|
imac-27.pngI recently ordered the 27" iMac quad core from McShark's store in Vienna. They said it should be available soon and I hope they're right. Obviously there is a lot of demand for these new iMacs and Apple seems to have some delays on the shipping.
It is "oh so true" to me: When I am a bit stressed, nothing is better than to get out with a camera in the nature and disconnect. Rick wrote down some good thoughts on this in his blog the other week.

For me, one of the major reasons I got the Nikon F5 back in 1999 was to have some reasons to get out and away from the office for some hours.

It was from that F5 the Nikonians story started: I wrote up my experiences on the camera, JRP and I met shortly afterwards on the net and the idea on Nikonians starting to take shape.

It really did help me to get out, away and to disconnect and it gave, and still do give, me tremendous joy.

What was intended to give me a relaxing time in the nature became one of the largest endeavours in my life. This community.

Welcome to this part of Nikonians

We have just launched our new blog system, available to Gold and Platinum members. I personally mainly blog in the Bo & JRP talk section of our main blog. I will though write here as well.

I also highly enjoy reading Martin Joergensen's blog. If you have not listened to his podcast "On Location", I strongly recommend you to do so, full of good tips and tricks. Latest two episodes dealing with HDR photography. Oh, by the way: Nikonians famous "Image Doctors" podcasters, Rick Walker and Jason Odell now have their own blogs as well. If you are interested in getting down & dirty with serious, amateur photography, these are gold nuggets.
