Hey! We are just over a week away from our March 20th lunch and the turnout is looking impressive. There seems to be a lot of interest brewing for the Sacramento Chapter and we have 27 people already saying "I'll be there".

This is going to be fun!

I'm looking forward to meeting/re-meeting all of our friends from around Northern California.

Cities represented so far:
Sacramento, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Lincoln, Davis, Rancho Murieta, Oroville, San Mateo (this guy gets the award so far for farthest drive), Carmichael, Cameron Park, Roseville,Tracy, Woodland, Pioneer and St. Petersburg RUSSIA (this guy gets the award for the most insane distance to travel for a meeting). 14 Cities to date!!!

I'm impressed!

The 20th can't get here soon enough!

Follow our discussion for this meeting at Nikonians.org here.

See y'all there!

Hey everyone - I just posted a note in our thread regarding our upcoming luncheon. BRING YOUR CAMERAS and be ready to SHOOT!

We're going to eat, drink and be merry...well...full at least: and then we are shooting right after we're done with the meeting.

I have a great lesson to teach, one that has pulled me out of the doldrums many times.

You wanna know what it is????

Come to the Sacramento Chapter meeting on March 20th and find out.

This is going to be fun.

Sacramento Chapter re-boot!

|
So it's been a little less than a year since I held the last luncheon for the Sacramento Chapter of Nikonians. Unfortunately, that has been the last thing I've done for the local chapter. The excuses are common: Family, Work, Recession, Life = all demanding too much time and keeping me from what I love.

Well, I'll try to re-boot the chapter at our upcoming lunch on Sunday, March 20, 2011. The information can be found here.

I hope that every Nikonian in Sacramento, Calif. and surrounding region, with an interest in this group, will attend. We'll see how it goes.

Come on Sacramento - We've been around since 2004 - we've done it before, and we can do it again.

Wedding Follow up

|
Well my first wedding went well. My stepdaughter was the typical beautiful bride (but I'm biased). It's been a month and a half and I'm still weeding through her images. I'm not the greatest at on-the-go photography like you have at a wedding and my pictures prove it. Not saying they are junk, but I would have preferred them to be better. But you know what, I'll bet everyone thinks that way even with a perfect shot. I don't look forward to all the post processing. I'll have pictures in my gallery when I get them cleaned up.

No more weddings!! Too much work!
